FAQs

Do I need to see a doctor if I don’t feel much pain after the accident?

Many accident injuries, like whiplash or soft tissue damage, may not show symptoms immediately. Florida law (PIP 14-day rule) states that to access PIP benefits, you must be evaluated by a medical provider within 14 days of the accident. Early evaluation helps identify and treat injuries promptly.

After an accident, it’s best to see a provider experienced in diagnosing and treating accident-related injuries. Our team includes chiropractors, pain management physicians, and rehabilitation specialists who work together to guide your recovery.

In many cases, patients have no out-of-pocket costs if PIP or insurance covers their treatment. We accept PIP, most major health plans, and can coordinate with your attorney or insurer to help determine coverage options available to you.

If your PIP coverage is exhausted or denied, we can coordinate with your health insurance or explore other coverage options to help you continue care. It’s important to address accident-related injuries promptly to support your recovery.

No, you do not need an attorney to begin treatment. If legal representation is part of your accident case, we are happy to coordinate with your chosen attorney to support your medical documentation and recovery process.

Don’t Miss Florida’s PIP 14-Day Rule

In Florida, you must see a doctor within 14 days of your car accident to use your PIP benefits. If you miss this window, your insurance may deny coverage for your treatment, even if you’re still in pain.
