Hi, I’m Dr. Gady Abramson, Founder of Back To Mind Chiropractic. I’m glad you visited our website. I started Back To Mind in Hollywood in 2002 with the mission to help Floridians live healthy and pain-free lives. I chose chiropractic because, after exploring various fields of medicine like neurology, surgery, family medicine, and psychiatry, I saw the incredible results chiropractic care can achieve with dedication and attention.
Our patients often experience rapid recovery. Many wonder why they spent so much time and money seeing multiple doctors when they feel significantly better after just a few visits with us. My goal is for you to recover as quickly as possible, ideally within a few visits. Our office is equipped with advanced tools to tailor treatments to each patient’s needs. Whether you have lower back pain, shooting pain, or neck pain, we aim to help you recover not in months, but in a few visits—sometimes as few as five.
With over 22 years of experience, I ensure our clinics are equipped with the latest technology. Our recent addition, the Shockwave device, introduced in 2023, rejuvenates your body at the cellular level, promoting quick recovery. We also offer laser therapy, El stimulation, Hydro Bed therapy, and myofascial release to address muscle spasms and tenderness.
At Back To Mind, we also provide chiropractic adjustments and, if necessary, injections or even surgery. However, our primary goal is to help you recover naturally and quickly. I urge you to call us immediately so we can start helping you right away. Most patients start to feel better after the first or second visit, and our aim is for you to recover as soon as possible with minimal visits.
Call us now to begin your journey to a pain-free life.

Chiropractic FAQs
What Is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic care is a holistic and preventative approach to maintaining a well-functioning body. Imagine the nervous system as the city’s extended network of roads and highways. The brain is the central command center sending important instructions through these roads to every building, street, and neighborhood, controlling everything from traffic lights to public transportation.
Now, think of the spine as a major highway that protects the main communication route—the spinal cord. A traffic jam or roadblock on this highway, known as a subluxation, can disrupt the smooth flow of traffic (nerve impulses), causing delays and issues in various parts of the city (the body).
Chiropractors are like skilled traffic controllers. They identify these roadblocks and gently clear them using spinal adjustment. By applying even force, they help restore the proper flow of traffic, ensuring that the body’s systems can function smoothly and naturally, just like clearing a traffic jam helps the city run efficiently.
Benefits of Chiropractic Adjustments
Here are the top 10 benefits of chiropractic care.
- Pain Relief: Chiropractic adjustments can reduce pain in the back, neck, and other joints by restoring misalignments and reducing pressure on nerves.
- Improve Mobility: Regular chiropractic care can improve your range of motion and overall mobility.
- Poor Posture: Poor posture can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle. A licensed and board-certified chiropractor can help correct a poor posture which can relieve pain and prevent future issues related to spinal alignment.
- Headache/Migraine Relief: Chiropractic adjustments can reduce the frequency and severity of headaches and migraines by addressing tension and misalignment in the spine.
- Better Sleep: Chiropractic care can improve sleep quality, helping you feel more rested and rejuvenated.
- Stress Reduction: Chiropractic treatments can help lower stress levels by promoting relaxation and improving the body’s natural ability to manage stress.
- Boost Immune System: Spinal adjustments can improve the function of the nervous system, which in turn can boost the immune system and help your body fight off illness more effectively.
- Improve Athletic Performance: Athletes can benefit from chiropractic care through improved flexibility, reduced pain, and faster recovery from injuries, leading to better performance.
- Drug-Free Pain Management: Chiropractic care offers a natural, drug-free approach to managing pain, reducing the need for pain medications and their associated side effects.
- Improve Overall Wellness: Regular chiropractic adjustments can contribute to overall wellness by maintaining proper spinal alignment, which supports the health of your entire body.
What Kind of Training Does A Chiropractor Have?
Chiropractors go through four years of comprehensive training to become licensed healthcare professionals. Their training includes:
- Undergraduate Education: Most chiropractors start with an undergraduate degree, often in a science-related field such as biology or kinesiology.
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) Degree: To become a chiropractor, they must earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic school. This program generally takes four to five years of study and combines both classroom learning and clinical experiences. During these studies, they’ll cover a wide range of topics such as anatomy, microbiology, radiology, functional kinesiology, and the advanced principles and philosophy of chiropractic care. Besides, they’ll also participate in laboratory work and clinical internships to gain hands-on experience.
- Clinical Training: In the clinical training, chiropractors complete hands-on clinical training, where they learn and experience treating patients under the supervision of experienced chiropractors.
- Licensing: After completing their education, chiropractors must pass four levels of national board exams and obtain a state license to practice. Licensing requirements vary by state but generally include passing exams and continuing education.
- Continuing Education: Chiropractors must complete continuing education courses regularly to stay updated on the latest practices, techniques, and research in chiropractic care.
